Richard Turlington was the Consulting Architect for Pelli Clarke Pelli Architects for one of Yale’s first sustainable, LEED Gold rated buildings. Mr. Turlington was responsible for preparing the contract documents for the exterior envelope of the building and coordinating the building’s complex mechanical, plumbing, electrical and fire protection systems. The project includes four stories of bioengineering and physical science laboratories. The construction cost was approximately $63M and the building is 63,000 s.f. and was completed in Jan 2005.
