FUN FACT The architecture of the egg

04/14/2017 -

As families decorate Easter eggs this time of year we wantd to take a look at the architecture of the eggs themselves.  An egg is a dome and is one of the strongest structures in the natural world.

Think of the Taj Mahal in India

the Gherkin in London

or the Kremlin in Russia

which all have incredible and beautiful domes which distribute weight and pressuere evenly.

Eggs are fun to deocrate during this season, and if you are up for a challenge try to create a holdiay Easter egg like Franc Grom who has used up to 17,000 drill holes on one egg!!
